I was puttzin around on my casio keyboard with eyes playing in the background, when the ST theme entered my mind for some reason- As i pecked it out on the keys during the main melody to eyes it fit in snug as a bug in a rug- coincidence? Well probably, but it is cool that it fits so
well.............

Well, if you are serious, of course, the answer is it was six or so years earlier...but I assume tongue is in cheek. Good catch, comparison wise though...never thought of it before.

that is funny liam.... occasionally i will "riff" over a grateful dead recording.... hell it was sort of how i learned to play music when i was 14... of course it is still fun.

and especially with the dead and tunes like eyes of the world or dark star or ramble on rose or china>rider, or feel like a stranger or wharf rat or well you know... they wrote a lot of great tunes that are easy to play and leave a fair amount of open room for improvisation...

so of course i could see how you might stumble on to a familiar melody, like star trek if you are so inclined.... you are not crazy, just appropriately weird....

I'm calling you crazy, because I don't hear it at all.

By the way, Tell, have you ever heard of the Grateful Dead song called "Eyes of the World?" (now that is tongue in cheek)
